APPLICATION & REGISTRATION
New Students
Spirit Life Institute accepts new students every semester. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to take advantage of early registration rates. New students can apply by filling out our new student application which may be downloaded here or by contacting the Spirit Life Institute Student Office.
Returning Students
All students are expected to register on the dates set aside for registration. Before registration is complete, students must select classes and all fees must be paid. Continuing students who are unable to finalize registration by the selected date for the semester may complete late registration no later than the first week of regular classes. However, it is possible that some classes may not include enough students and therefore would not be offered. Class attendance is not permitted until registration is complete, which includes financial payment.
Auditing Classes
Permission to audit a class is at the instructor’s discretion. New students will still need to fill out and submit an application to attend. For a semester audit, permission must be obtained the week before the beginning of classes. Upon approval, the fee for the class will be at the early registration level. The instructor need not grade any papers or other work of the student. The grade given for the semester will be Au for Audit. Audited classes will not be recognized for a certificate or diploma.
Certification
Spirit Life Institute is certified by Foursquare Christian Education, a ministry department of International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. This certification is not accreditation; rather it is evidence that the institute meets academic requirements specifically for licensing purposes. Upon graduation and appointment in a Foursquare church, our graduates will be eligible to apply for Foursquare licensing.
